Hello!

I hope that your Easter break has been full of fun, relaxation (... and chocolate!)

Below is the work for this week. There are reading, writing, maths, science, and topic activities to keep you busy every day!

The writing activities really need to be completed in the order that I have labelled them. In addition to the work below, feel free to read your own books, access times tables games and Purple Mash on top of the work I have set.

It has been lovely to see so many of you have started to access the wide range of free books available via Epic (links to this resource available on the Easter Activities page).

Our next text for the Summer term will be The Great Fire of London. If you have access to any books about London, then it would be great for the children to start reading these too. Here are some links to some resources (via Youtube) that I have found.

Thank you so much for the incredible hard work that you have done over the past few weeks. I know how incredible year 1 are and I am sure that adults at home have been pleased with your hard work and effort towards all of the activities set. Please keep up a positive attitude towards your work, keep smiling and keep giving your all! I have absolutely loved teaching you and seeing you all grow so far this year, and I cannot wait to see you all again so that we can return to our classroom family. I am excited to see what you have been up to, and all of the new things you have discovered during your home learning. I would like to thank all parents and guardians at home for the continued support, and your amazing efforts in these tough times.

Stay safe and well!

Warm wishes,

Miss Woodward
