Food and Celebrations
We have had great fun this half term learning about different celebrations and the foods we eat to help us celebrate. We have also learned about where our food comes from and how food changes when it cooks. We have read some great stories linked to our topic including 'It's My Birthday,' 'Handa's Surprise,' 'How Many Sleeps until Christmas,' and 'The Gingerbread Man.' We have looked at many different celebrations including birthdays, Diwali, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The end of the term was topped off by a fantastic Nativity performance. We were so proud of the children.
