Hello everyone! I hope you have all had a lovely week. You have all worked so hard and we are so proud of you all - keep going, I know it is hard but keep smiling, you are all doing a great job :)
I have attached this week's timetable and the resources you need, you can also find them in the files section of Teams, week beginning the 1.2.21. In the reading sessions this week we will be reading a book from Oxford Owl called 'Here comes trouble'. We will read this together as a guided read and answer a range of questions about the text. In our writing sessions this week we will be doing some writing on The Stone Age Boy, leading to a recount piece of writing which will form the basis for your writing assignment this week.
In maths we are going to finish our unit of work on 'money' and start our new maths unit on 'statistics'.
There are a couple of changes to the timetable this week - the first one is every Wednesday we will now have a 'well-being Wednesday afternoon'. During this afternoon we will be engaging in a range of craft /art/baking activities. This week's well-being afternoon session the task is to make your own Stone Age House. I hope you enjoy making this!
The second change is that every Friday afternoon we will have a music slot called 'feel-good Friday' where we can enjoy some music
Also this week we will be celebrating Mental Health Week - the theme this year is 'Express yourself' and on Friday we are asking you to 'Dress to Express', have fun!! Speak to you all soon!
