In our Topic this term, Coastlines we will be learning all about the seaside town Whitby. This project teaches children about the physical and human features of coastal regions across the United Kingdom, including a detailed exploration of the coastal town of Whitby, in Yorkshire. Alongside learning about how the coastal has changed from the past as well as the popular seaside jobs. We will also be looking at Captain James Cook and his significance to Whitby and creating our own maps of our visitor seaside town.
