As Headteacher, it has been my privilege to lead the school for the past 12 years and during that time I have been continually inspired by the enthusiasm, kindness and achievements of our pupils, staff and wider school community. At Goldenhill, we are passionate about creating a happy, safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to thrive.

At the heart of our school is our vision to provide an inspiring, creative and innovative environment that develops the whole child, encouraging and challenging every pupil to achieve their full potential and equipping them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to become effective citizens of the future. We want every child at Goldenhill to love learning forever, believe in themselves, embrace challenge, and develop the resilience and independence needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Our motto, “Everyone Shines at Goldenhill,” reflects our commitment to nurturing each child as an individual. We are proud to provide an excellent foundation for children to grow academically, socially and emotionally, while promoting a lifelong love of learning. We believe that children achieve their very best when they are happy, motivated and inspired, and we continually strive to provide high-quality teaching and memorable experiences that broaden horizons and raise aspirations.

Our six core values — kindness, bravery and resilience, honesty, respect, curiosity and independence — underpin all aspects of school life. These values are woven throughout our curriculum, relationships and wider opportunities, helping pupils to develop strong character, positive attitudes and mutual respect for others regardless of age, gender, faith or ability.
