Welcome to the Reception Class. This is an exciting year for the children with many engaging topics, hands on learning, exciting art projects, indoor and outdoor activities and special events. During the year the children will develop their independence and will become prepared for life in Year 1. On a daily basis the children can access indoor and outdoor(weather permitting) learning across all areas of the curriculum. Activities are available to develop their personal and social skills, their communication and language skills, their physical development, maths, literacy, understanding of the world and their creative and expressive skills. They will engage in exciting role play, build fantastic models, create wonderful works of art, enjoy a wide range of books, work on I pads, sing and create music and, of course, develop crucial early skills in English and Maths.

The Reception Classroom is a fun, vibrant place to be with lots of laughter and learning.
