In Year 6 we are ready to learn; have the desire to improve; and the attitude to aim high and achieve outstanding results!

The Year 6’s class ethos encapsulates the children’s desire to leave Goldenhill Primary Academy being the very best version of themselves. Year 6 is the pinnacle of Primary School life and allows the children the opportunity to showcase the skills and talents that they have been developing throughout their school life. As a class, we are beginning the final phase of that journey. A journey which will be fun, challenging and provide an apex of special memories for the rest of their lives. Our exciting topic based curriculum will be driven by the children, allowing them to take full ownership of their learning. This independence will provide the children with the perfect stepping stone to secondary school life. A highlight of the year is definitely going on our residential field trip to Stanley Head OEC, in Staffordshire. Another significant event that happens is the Year 6 Production. In the last few years, we have produced: Cinderella Rockerfella, Pirates of the Curry Bean and Aladdin Trouble, all of which have been highly entertaining for all the children and adults alike!
