Nursery Admissions

Our current nursery intake is 26 children and we have a single intake every September.  Nursery applications are made online through Stoke On Trent Local Authority (see link to LA site below).  Please contact the school office for further information

Reception Admissions

Reception applications are made online through Stoke On Trent Local Authority (see link to LA site below). The system will open for applications for the next September intake usually in the prior November. Children in our Nursery will receive a letter reminding them to apply for a reception place at the appropriate time.  It is essential that you complete your application as children in the nursery are not automatically guaranteed a place in the reception class.

In-year Admissions

If you move into the local area or are changing your child’s school mid-way through the academic year you will need to approach the new school where you would like your child to attend.  The school will deal with the in-year transfers and you will need to complete an In-Year Transfer form (available from the school office or see below).  We will then review the application and let you know if we are able to admit your child.  If you would like more information or have any queries, please contact the school office on 01782 235790

Goldenhill Primary Academy adheres to the the Societas Trust Admissions Arrangements for  the academic year 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.  Where there are more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements will apply.
