Play eye spy. Draw or collect things in a basket that start with “r”

Action: Pretend to be a puppy pulling a rag. Shake your head from side to side saying rrrrrrr.

Action: Put your hands out face down and pretend to wobble like a jelly on a plate and say j,j,j.j,j
Please help your child by playing eye-spy with these sounds to help them hear the sound at the start of a word.

Sort out the clean clothes. Who do they belong to? Can they deliver them to the right place in the house?

Make a mobile using twigs and leaves/flowers to hang outside. How are you going to join it together?

What jobs do the people in your family do? Talk to your child about your job and what you do. What would they like to be when they grow up? Can they draw a picture of themselves in the job they would like to do? |
When you have your bath, why not find out which things float and sink?
