Class resources 1.3.21

Hello everyone!

Well, here we are in our last week of online/remote learning! You have all adapted to the new way of learning amazingly well and you should all be very proud of yourselves smiley we look forward to seeing you all in person on the 8th March!

For our last week online, we will be continuing to read our class text 'Escape from Pompeii'. We will be reading this as a class guided read and will then spend some time looking at vocabulary and interpretation and inference questions.

In our writing sessions we are going to be doing some unpunctuated text and we will then move on to look at the Roman city of Pompeii and think about writing a description of the setting for the story.

In maths we will be completing our work on measuring length and this week we will look at perimeter.

Finally, just a couple of reminders for this week:

*Well-being Wednesday session this week will be based around Mother's Day craft activities

*Thursday is World Book Day - we will spend the whole day dedicated to this, completing lots of activities and of course, doing lots of reading smiley Please feel free to dress up as your favourite book character for this day! We would love to see this!

Have a lovely week,

Miss Lea-Smith and Mrs Howson
