Welcome to the Year 1 class page!
Miss Woodward, Mrs Burke and Mrs Lomas :)
During their time in Year 1, pupils will be discovering lots of new ways to learn and develop their ideas. Pupils will experience a variety of fantastic immersive experiences- which will be led by our five topics for the year. In Year 1, we will endeavour to instil a love of learning in each and every one of our pupils.
As a team, we will work hard together to create a positive learning environment where pupils can be the best that they can be and reach their full potential! Pupils will gain skills and knowledge in Year 1 which they will continue to build upon throughout their time at Goldenhill.

Christmas Trip to Biddulph Grange Gardens- We had a great day visiting Santa and hearing his festive stories. We followed the garden trail to find the hidden presents that had fallen from Santa's sleigh. On the way, we even managed to spot lots of cheeky reindeer! It was a very fun and festive day.
