Mental Health Week 2022

Children's Mental Health Week

 

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week (7-13 February 2022).

This year's theme is Growing Together.

We’re encouraging children (and adults) to consider how they have grown and how they can help others to grow.  

 

In EYFS children have been looking at different emotions and what they mean and how they feel to different people. They have also shared ideas on how to cope and deal with different emotions. Some of the children had fabulous coping techniques. 

 

In KS1 we have looked at things we have already achieved in our lives and celebrated these achievements with our peers. 

We put together targets we would like to achieve in the future and together wrote steps to achieve these targets. Please see photographs below of some of the amazing work KS1 produced.

 

In KS2 we have looked at how we can be supportive towards our peers when tackling something challenging and how we can work together to achieve different targets. 

 

There are plenty of resources to support with mental health week for parents, carers and for the children too. There are even some support videos from some very familiar faces. Take a look via the website below:
