School Values

Our school values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Through consultation with academy staff, governor’s and children we have agreed upon a set of 6 core values that are taught throughout the academy. These values will be incorporated into everyday life at the academy and constantly reinforced with all pupils.

The core values of Goldenhill Primary Academy are:

  • Kindness
  • Bravery/ Resilience
  • Honesty
  • Respect
  • Curiosity
  • Independence

How will the children be taught the Core Values?

In order to make the teaching and application of core values as enjoyable and memorable for our children we use the ‘Yoimoji’.

Who are the Yoimoji?

The Yoimoji are a collection of colourful characters designed to help promote our core values. Each Yoimoji represents a value that, over time, helps build children’s understanding of our core values and the Fundamental British Values.
