This half term our topic is 'The Romans'. Our WOW starter was to create our own class mosaics after some research and design.
During this topic we will be learning about daily life of people from this period in history. Our English text is Alfie's Roman adventure. This book tells of the adventures that Alfie has in Roman times and the things he learns about aspects of their life on the way. During our 'Watch me learn' day we will be creating Roman shields, swords, helmets and pots. For our EXIT point we will be joined for a day of exciting history and activities by a Roman soldier.
