Tick, tock, tick, tock... the hands on the clock never stop. From the moment we are born, from toddler to teen, middle age to elderly, time stops for no man. Take a good look at yourself... How has your face changed since you were a baby, and how will it change as your grow older?
Welcome time travellers! I'm here to invite you on a fantastic ride through aeons of time, deep through the gateways of the past on an enthralling journey. We'll reverse the polarity of the neutron flow, heading back to the very beginning to regenerate your being! Take a step inside, and we'll begin our journey - I wonder where we'll land? Hold on tight travellers...fasten your seatbelts … we're off!
What another great topic! Thank you to our volunteers who came into school to answer the children's questions about the history of our local area - we really enjoyed having you. During our topic, we have explored a range of 'art and design' skills including different types of shading and we used these skills to draw self portraits. We also took inspiration from Andy Warhol's 'Pop Art' to create our own 'Pop Art' self portraits! We also designed and created our very own time machine. Some of us went back in time to significant moments in our life that we wanted to revisit, some of us went and explored the time of the dinosaurs and some of us travelled forwards in time to the height of technological inventions. We finished our topic by thinking about our 'Dreams' for the future and put them on a 'shelf' in 'Dream Jars' to keep them safe.
