Our Wonderful World
We had a great half term learning about different places around the world. We rode on Granny's magic carpet to visit Russia, China, Peru and many other places collecting beautiful artefacts as we went. We learned all about France and enjoyed tasting Croissants and Pain au Chocolate. We traveled to India and learned about how the monsoon rains affect the country, what people wear and eat and animals of India. We enjoyed learning about different landmarks all around the world. We finished the half term with a fantastic Elmer Day. We looked fantastic in our bright clothes and really enjoyed making and eating Elmer cookies.
At the start of the half term we took part in a sponsored obstacle course. This was great fun despite the weather letting us down. e raised an amazing £290. Wow! This will make a huge difference to our outdoor area. Many, many thnaks.
