Our Wonderful World
In the Our Wonderful World topic, Year 1 have explored the continents and oceans. We have learnt about human and physical features, the capital cities of the UK, temperature around the world and what makes a place hot or cold. We learnt lots of new vocabulary such as: equator, Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere, capital city, continent and lots more. We will build on this learning in our next topic 'Bright Lights, Big City.'
