  • BREAKING NEWS! Goldenhill Dance 2018 is a great success!

    On Thursday 8th March, Goldenhill Dance FINALLY got to perform their world class dance show to around 300 people at the Victoria Hall in Hanley! The show comprised of around 15 schools and over 200 children, celebrating dance across the years! The theme for Goldenhill was 'Science experiment gone wrong - Kids can't stop dancing!' All of the children were fantastic representatives for Goldenhill and made sure the months of hard work were worth it!

  • ParentPay - our new online payment service starting 1st March

    ParentPay - our new online payment service

     

    We’re pleased to announce that we will shortly be changing our online payment service from sQuid to ParentPay, you will be able to pay online using your credit or debit card. ParentPay will be our preferred method of making payments to school.

     

    What are the benefits to parents and pupils?

    • ParentPay is easy-to-use and will offer you the freedom to make online payments whenever and wherever you like, 24/7 –
    • the technology used is of the highest internet security available ensuring that your money will reach school safely – offering you peace of mind
    • payments can be made by credit/debit card or also through PayPoint
    • full payment histories and statements are available to you securely online at anytime
    • your children won’t have to worry about losing money at school
    • Parents can choose to be alerted when their balances are low via email and/or SMS text –

     

    What are the benefits to our academy?

    The more parents that use ParentPay, the greater the benefit is to our academy. You can help us reduce workloads for all staff, creating more time to lend to educational support and the smooth running of the academy. Using ParentPay also ensures that all financial transactions are safe and secure - helping us to remove costs associated with us having to manage cash securely on the academy premises

    How to get started with ParentPay…

    We will shortly be sending you your account activation username and password, once you receive these:

    • Visit www.parentpay.com
    • Enter your Activation username and password in the Account Login section of the homepage. NB. These are for one-time use only, you will choose your own username and password for future access during the activation process
    • Provide all the necessary information and choose your new username and password for your account - registering your email address will enable us to send you receipts and reminders
    • Once activation is complete you can go to straight to Items for payment, select which item(s) you want to add to your basket and proceed to complete your payment

  • Academy clousre- Monday 11th December due to bad weather

    It is with regret that we inform you the academy (including Kids club) will be closed tomorrow. We are unable to guarantee the safety of pupils, parents and staff. The volume of snow on the premises is significant and along with continuing freezing temperatures predicted we are unable to clear and keep the paths and driveways and car park free from snow and ice. We will do our upmost to make the site safe for Tuesday. We will keep you updated. This decision has not been taken lightly and we hope that this gives you advance notice for making arrangements for your children. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
  • Societas Games 2017

    On 3rd October, 53 children from across different year groups took the the track and field to represent the Academy in the 2017 Societas Games! Every single child should be proud of their achievements on the day - during both the morning and afternoon sessions. A fantastic medal haul and great lessons in teamwork and collaboration made for an unforgettable day for the entirety of the children and staff.

    Well done Team Goldenhill!!

  • Goldenhill Primary Academy conversion

    From 1st June Goldenhill Primary officially converted to Academy status and formally became a member of Societas Trust.  

     

    We have opened a new chapter for our staff, pupils, parents and community. I am confident that the freedoms of academy status and the partnership we have formed (as part of the Societas Trust) and their continuing development will enable us to continue the amazing work do on a daily basis; enhancing children's skills and life chances and providing them with the tools to become effective citizens of the future.

  • Enterprise Market Year 6

    Please come and visit the Year 6 stall at the Enterprise Market on Friday 19th May. Doors open at 2:30pm. Items available are: Mum and Dad world clouds (small, medium and large), fridge magnets, key rings, bookmarks and year 6 selfie photos. Come and grab yourself a bargain!
