Year 3 had an amazing 'Watch me learn day' on Wednesday 2nd May. A huge thank you to all of the parents and grandparents that were able to attend. The children loved inviting you into their classroom to share what they get up to on a day to day basis and we hope you that all enjoyed it!
We linked our watch me learn day to our summer topic of 'chocolate'. During the morning the children and parents were involved in lots of chocolate themed activities! Yummy!
To start the morning, we had to design and make a new packaging for a new chocolate bar! This was very exciting and we had some very creative results which you can see on display in our classroom. After this, the children took on the role of 'chocolate testers' and we sampled lots of different chocolate and had to try and guess what the chocolate was!! There were a few tricky ones!
We also had a game of multiplication bingo to test our (and parents/grandparents) times tables knowledge! To finish the morning we had to solve a chocolate mystery and have a go a very tricky chocolate and sweet quiz! Unfortunately the chocolate fountain didn't work but we still got to sample the marshmallows and selection of fruits! We managed to get the chocolate fountain working for the children's goldentime Have a look at the photos below of our exciting morning!
