Our summer term topic in year 3 is 'Scrumdiddlyumptious'! This exiting topic take us on a journey learning all about the history of chocolate. For homework over the Easter break children were asked to undertake some research on the origins of chocolate and where it all began.
We will be looking at a range of different chocolate packaging and the children will be designing and presenting their own packaging for a new chocolate bar!
Our class text will be Roald Dahl's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' which the children are already really excited to start to read!
We hope to finish the topic with a trip to Cadbury's World!!
