This project teaches children about the global community to which they belong and explores how living things, communities and climates differ around the world.
Topic web
This has been an amazing topic. We have learned about different climates around the world and can explain what we think the climate will be like and why. We have learned about lots of different countries and how people live compared to our lives in Goldenhill. Through various fiction and non fiction texts we have explored different environments, climates, day to day living, house and food. We have enjoyed learning about different cultures. We have made maps, flags and artefacts from different countries. We particularly enjoyed making Mango Lassi.
