We have really enjoyed this topic. We have been finding out about what life was like long ago. First we concentrated on babies and had a visit from baby Benjamin. We know that we were all babies once and we have enjoyed looking at our friend's photos of when they were babies. We learned about what babies need and how we grow through the life stages. After that we concentrated on grandparents and William's Nan came to talk to us about what life was like when she was little. We really enjoyed this. We have learned about old toys and old objects from around the home. We played a 'Guess what it is' game - no one guessed chamber pot! Mrs Cookson brought in her old teddies who were very much loved. We leaned about different childhood and we especially enjoyed learning about Floella Benjamin and how she moved to our country when she was little. We have also been learning about the Queen and our royalty in the past.
