Welcome to the class page of Year 2.
Come and see our classroom! You will see us excitedly working hard - whatever we are learning about. We are fantastic at making sure we are confident in whatever we are doing to help us achieve our absolute best!
In Year 2, we are beginning to see ourselves as role models for children who are younger than us, so always be on the look out for the most polite and responsible children and earning ourselves YoiMoji cards. Year 2 is the end of Key Stage 1, so we are all preparing for life in Key Stage 2.

Year 2 SATS Information
We had a very busy day today! We made Baby Bear a new chair. First we learnt a range of skills including stability and strength we then put these skills into practice and made our own chair. We designed our own chair and chose the materials we wanted to use. Take a look at the experiments we did and some of the chairs we made!
We have had a fab day meeting Santa! First we went on a trail around Biddulph Grange to find the clues that Santa had left for us. Each clue had a letter on to form a password to enter Santa's Grotto. We then entered Santa's Grotto where he read us a festive story and asked us what we wanted for Christmas. He then waved us goodbye as we made our way back to school!
